People in Need Mongolia and ORDA Partner to Drive ESG, Climate Change Solutions, and Sustainable Development
On January 13, 2025, People in Need Mongolia (PIN) and ORDA formalized a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This milestone collaboration establishes a framework for transparent and open information exchange on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and trends in climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Aligned with global sustainability goals, the partnership underscores a commitment to addressing critical environmental challenges, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing transparency in environmental practices. This collaboration also focuses on identifying new joint ventures and initiatives aimed at meaningful change in both local and global scales.
Global green investment faces a $5.2 trillion annual funding gap to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. ORDA addresses this challenge by leveraging cutting-edge technology and finance to deliver tailored solutions that tackle climate issues, generate measurable impact, and create sustainable income and economic opportunities for local communities, driving long-term growth and prosperity.
As a civil society partner, PIN brings invaluable expertise in grassroots engagement to the collaboration. By working closely with local populations, PIN ensures that community needs and priorities remain at the heart of all initiatives. Their efforts in building awareness, fostering project support, and protecting local interests will help guide the partnership’s endeavors to be inclusive, impactful, and sustainable.
The partnership between ORDA and PIN combines ORDA’s innovative climate solutions with PIN’s community-centered approach to bridge the green investment gap, advance sustainable finance, reduce GHG emissions, and promote corporate responsibility. Together, the organizations aim to achieve measurable progress toward global sustainability goals, empower communities, and deliver lasting impacts.
